Ana Julia Torres kisses Jupiter, an African lion she rescued malnourished from a circus six years ago, at her Villa Lorena animal shelter, in Cali.
This is an amazing video of a lion hugging and kissing his rescuer.
She saved in from one of those disgusting cheap circuses that go from town to town, she found him malnourished, took him gave him some love and care that he doesn't forget. He couldn't have been bitter towards human considering how badly they must have abused him before but animals are so grateful.

The main thing is that this lion seems happy. Life is never black and white. Captivity can be awful or it can be one filled with love and care.
Being in the wild can also be painful although it gives freedom to the animal. Nature can be cruel like people. But this lion seems to have found happiness in the care of this wonderful lady.
