This is the trick of balancing 2 forks on the rim of a glass using a toothpick, then burning the toothpick and the forks remain balancing.
This is a really cool trick that you can show at a party.
Balance 2 forks on the rim of a glass using a toothpick, by burning the toothpick at one end.
It is not balancing by the weight but in fact its just the center of gravity by the two forks, the forks are stuck together and are really balancing on its balance point, the toothpick is just to make you think that the toothpick is doing anything, in which it doesnt weigh enough to have an effect on the center of gravity anyway, so all it is doing is burning off the axis, yet the center of gravity stays the same, its truely just the forks balancing.
